Your write up on Avondale Heights is very interesting.
My ancestor James Fitzpatrick, and family settled there in 1880 . They leased a farm on North Pole Rd, which had a Bluestone cottage with dirt floors. This was the original home of an early settler , Mr. O’Brien.
The Fitzpatrick children attended the Braybrook School, and rode on horseback down the North (Pole) Rd , over Solomon’s Ford and up the hill to Braybrook.
About 1900 James Fitzpatrick purchased a neighbouring property, located on Military Rd, which went down to the Maribyrnong River.
The family built a brick house, and stables, milking shed etc.
The farm was named Avondale. In the early 1950s James daughter Hannah Fitzpatrick sold the farm.

I just found your WP Plugin „LH Disable BP Registration“, wich is great, since it is exactly what I am looking for. I would like to run a buddypress, but would like to use the registration process of wordpress.
Unfortunatly after installing and activating, the plugin had no effect. Do you have an advice for me, how to get it running? Wich theme should I use (currently: twenty sevewnteen) Or do you offer a premium version of this plugin? Best regards and thx a lot!!!
