I grew up in Richmond in the 40’s through too early 60’s went to ST IGNATIUS Catholic School and Vaucluse Convent….My family lived in Chestnut Street…just behind Bryant and May Match factory…..My Father was an Australian Champion Boxer of the time and a well known sportsman..His name was “Young Frisco”…Jack Dyer owned the Milk Bar in Church St, and Mrs Dyer made my First Holy Communion dress…in 1950….Great memories of growing up in Richmond and the people and times…
